Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) is currently the largest bank in the world with assets of CNY17.542 trillion (US$2.811 trillion). ICBC occupied only the sixth position in December 2011. HSBC Holdings is the second largest financial institution in the world with assets of over $2.692 trillion. Deutsche Bank (DB) is the third largest bank in the world. DB also ranks among the ten largest asset and wealth managers globally with over $1.250 trillion in assets under management.
