The top 50 banks include 12 Chinese banks, 6 US banks, 5 UK banks, 5 French banks, 5 Japanese banks, 4 banks from Australia, 3 from Canada, 2 from Germany, 2 from Italy, 2 from Spain and 2 banks from Switzerland. The top 10 banks hold combined assets of over $25 trillion.
