Brazilian and Chinese banks are among the top 10 credit card issuers

Today the Brazilian and Chinese banks are among the top 10 largest credit card issuers in the World. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) is the highest ranking of the five fast-growing banks and is catching up fast with the world number one, JPMorgan Chase. The others are Brazil’s Itau Unibanco, Bradesco and Banco do Brasil and China Merchants Bank. ICBC has issued more than 73 million credit cards by end-June 2012.
