Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A. (NYSE: BSBR, BM&FBOVESPA: SANB11; SANB3; SANB4) is the largest division of Spanish bank Santander in Latin America. With more than 30 million customers, Santander Brasil is the sixth largest bank in the country by total assets. It operates in all segments of financial market through a network of more than 2,250 full service branches, 1,175 mini-branches and approximately 14,200 ATMs, primarily in Brazil's southern and southeastern regions, with a major presence in the states of São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul. The company offers deposit products, consumer and business loans, pension and insurance services, credit and debit cards, trade finance, global custody, securities services, foreign exchange, private banking, asset management, internet banking and more. Banco Santander Brasil was established in 1982 and is headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As of June 30, 2016, it had total assets of R$605.5 billion (US$187 billion) and total equity of R$85.3 billion (US$26 billion).
