Grupo Financiero Interacciones, S.A. de C.V. (BMV: GFINTERO) was incorporated in 1992 and is the largest specialized financial group in Mexico focused on providing government and infrastructure lending, risk management and financial advisory services. With more than 1,000 employees, the company conducts its business through banking subsidiary Banco Interacciones, Interacciones Casa de Bolsa (broker-dealer subsidiary), and Aseguradora Interacciones (insurance unit). GFI operates 11 mutual funds in debt instruments and 4 mutual funds in equities. As of March 2017, the Group had total assets of MXN 232.436 billion (US$13 billion) and total equity of MXN 16.4 billion. It has a presence in 35 cities and 16 of 32 states across the country. Grupo Financiero Interacciones is listed on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores under the symbol GFINTERO. The Group is approximately 70% controlled by Mexican billionaire Carlos Hank Rhon and his family.
