DHB Bank (Demir-Halk Bank, Nederland N.V.) is an international Dutch bank, founded in Rotterdam in 1992. DHB Bank is owned by HCBG Holding BV (70%), which was established in the Netherlands, and Türkiye Halk Bankasi A.S. (30%), a public bank whose 25% shares are listed on the stock exchange. DHB bank operates through 27 offices in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Macedonia (including 19 branches and sub-branches in this country) and Turkey. In 1997, the Bank began establishing an international presence by expanding into Germany and now has offices in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Berlin and Munich. In 1999, DHB Bank started its Belgian operations and currently has branches in Brussels and Antwerp. DHB Bank has a 66.56% stake in Export & Credit Bank Inc., Skopje, a mid-sized Macedonian bank acquired in the second half of 2008, in which European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has a 25% shareholding.
