Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) is a universal bank with strong regional roots. It employs about 11,000 staff and operates as the central bank for the savings banks in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland Palatinate and Saxony. Together with its regional retail banks, namely BW-Bank, LBBW Rheinland-Pfalz Bank and LBBW Sachsen Bank, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg provides a whole range of products and services through approx. 200 branches and offices across the country. LBBW business areas include corporate banking, private banking, savings, real estate financing and financial markets. For the local corporate customers, LBBW Group offers services on a global basis with selected international locations including branches and representative offices in New York, London, Zurich, Vienna, Dubai, Istanbul, Singapore, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Hanoi, and Seoul. The international network is further enhanced by the five German Centers in Beijing, Mexico City, Singapore, Delhi and Moscow. The company’s main domestic offices are located in Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Mannheim and Mainz. Landesbank Baden-Württemberg was formed on January 1, 1999 through the merger of three different banks: SüdwestLB, Landesgirokasse and L-Bank.
