Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc (IBTCCB: Lagos) is a full service universal bank providing a wide range of corporate, investment, business and personal banking products and services. With more than 1,500 employees, the Bank has a network of over 60 branches across Nigeria. It was launched in March 2008, after the merger of Stanbic Bank (Nigeria) and the IBTC Chartered Bank. Stanbic IBTC Bank operates as a subsidiary of Standard Bank Group Ltd., a largest banking group in Africa by assets and earnings. As of December 31, 2011, the company had N554.2 billion (US$3.4 billion) in total assets and N292.7 billion (US$1.8 billion) in customers’ deposits.
