Raiffeisen is the only Austrian bank with a strong presence in Asia, where it operates branches and representative offices.

RBI has held a licence for transactions in the local currency, the renminbi (RMB) since 2005. The branch in Xiamen and the representative offices in Zhuhai, Harbin and Hong Kong no longer appear in the international network published by RBI: as of September 2026 the Beijing branch is the only office it lists in Greater China.

The branch offers a wide range of products and services to both corporate and institutional customers.

As of September 2026 the international network published by Raiffeisen Bank International is smaller than the list of addresses above. In Asia it comprises branches in Beijing and Singapore and representative offices in Mumbai, Seoul and Ho Chi Minh City, together with a cooperation with Mizuho Bank in Japan; in North America it comprises only RB International Markets (USA) LLC in New York, and no entity is listed in Kazakhstan. Elsewhere outside Central and Eastern Europe the group lists branches in Frankfurt and London, an office in Düsseldorf, representative offices in Paris and Stockholm, a liaison office in Brussels, and Raiffeisen Investment AG in Istanbul.
