Banco Bradesco S.A. is one of the four biggest banks in the country along with Banco do Brasil, Itaú Unibanco and Caixa Econômica Federal. The company provides a full range of products and services for personal and business customers. It offers current and saving accounts, personal and business loans, credit cards, investment banking, asset management as well as life, health, accident and car insurance, property and casualty insurance, individual and corporate pension plans, pension investment contracts, online and mobile banking and more. Grupo Bradesco Seguros is the largest company in the Brazilian insurance market, with a market share of over 24%. As of December 31, 2025, Banco Bradesco had 82,095 employees and served a client base of 74.3 million through 2,009 branches (down from 2,695 at the end of 2023), 1,441 service centers and 431 electronic service centers. The customers can also use 39,245 ATMs, including 12,540 Bradesco ATMs and 26,705 ATMs of the Banco24Horas network. As of December 31, 2025, the group had two branches, nine subsidiaries and two representative offices abroad, among them Banco Bradesco Europa S.A. in Luxembourg, Bradesco Securities, Inc. in New York, Bradesco Securities UK Limited in London, Cidade Capital Markets Ltd. in Grand Cayman, and Bradesco Bank, Bradesco Investments Inc. and Bradesco Global Advisors Inc. in Miami. Banco Bradesco Argentina S.A., Bradesco North America LLC and BRAM US LLC are no longer listed among the units abroad; the group business in Argentina is the insurer Bradesco Argentina de Seguros S.A. Bradesco stock is traded on the São Paulo, Madrid and New York stock exchanges. The company was founded in 1943 under the name Banco Brasileiro de Descontos S.A. and changed its name to Banco Bradesco in 1988. Bradesco was the largest private bank in Brazil until Banco Itaú and Unibanco merged in 2008. In 2016, Bradesco acquired all operations of HSBC in Brazil including HSBC Bank Brasil SA and HSBC Servicos e Participacoes Ltda. As of December 31, 2025, Banco Bradesco had BRL 2.036 trillion in total assets, compared with BRL 1.294 trillion (US$407 billion) at March 31, 2017.
