Nomura is a global investment bank with operations in more than 30 countries. It employs over 28,000 people and provides a wide range of products and services to individual, corporate, institutional and government clients through four business divisions: Wealth Management, Investment Management, Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking) and Banking. The common shares of Nomura Holdings are listed on the Tokyo, Nagoya and Singapore stock exchanges, and its American Depositary Shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The company was established on December 25, 1925 and is headquartered in Tokyo. As of June 2026, it reported net assets under management of ￥156.4 trillion and Wealth Management client assets of more than ￥183.7 trillion. It had 104 retail branches in Japan as of April 1, 2026.
