Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. (MUFG) is one of the largest and most diversified financial groups in the world. The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) serves as the core retail and commercial banking arm of the Group. It is the largest bank in Japan. As of March 31, 2017, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group had total assets of ¥303.297 trillion, loans of ¥109.005 trillion, deposits of ¥170.730 trillion, approximately 90,000 domestic employees and 50,000 overseas employees.
