United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Limited is a universal bank providing a wide range of financial products and services in Ghana. It offers bank accounts including revolutionary UBA cashless account without an initial deposit, individual and corporate current and savings accounts, student savings and U-Gold accounts, personal loans, mortgages, Visa cards, money transfer, online banking as well as investment products such as call deposit, fixed deposit and NRG accounts (non-resident Ghanaian accounts). The Wholesale Banking Division offers cash management, trade services, corporate loans, distributor finance and structured finance. The Bank operates through a network of 29 branches, two cash offices and more than 60 ATMs, according to its 2025 annual report, with business offices in Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale, Tarkwa, Kasoa, Ashaiman and Aflao. The company was previously known as Standard Trust Bank Ghana Ltd. United Bank for Africa (Ghana) is a subsidiary of United Bank for Africa Plc, a Pan-African bank with operations in 20 African countries and a presence in 24 countries across four continents, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France and the United Arab Emirates.
