Seguros Banorte S.A. de C.V. (formerly Seguros Banorte-Generali) was created in 1997 and operates as a subsidiary of Grupo Financiero Banorte. The company offers a wide range of insurance products including life and health insurance, home and auto insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, education insurance, business Insurance, and SME insurance. Seguros Banorte has approximately 500 offices across Mexico. As of 30 June 2026, the company reported consolidated total assets of MXN 137.58 billion (approximately US$7.9 billion), total liabilities of MXN 112.31 billion and total equity of MXN 25.27 billion, with net income of MXN 4.11 billion for the first half of 2026. The consolidated figures include permanent investments in subsidiaries of MXN 13.57 billion, principally Banorte Futuro, which holds a 50 percent interest in the pension fund manager Afore XXI Banorte.
