Grupo Financiero Multiva

Grupo Financiero Multiva, S.A.B. de C.V. (GFMULTI) is a Mexican financial services company providing a wide range of financial products and services including retail and corporate banking, agricultural and government banking, insurance and other services. The company is headquartered in Mexico City and has offices in Guadalajara, Monterrey, Aguascalientes, Leon, Zacatecas, and Veracruz. As of March 31, 2017, the Group had total assets of MXN 100.492 billion (US$5.6 billion), net loans of MXN 60.951 billion (US$3.4 billion) and total equity of MXN 5.7 billion. Grupo Financiero Multiva is a subsidiary of Grupo Empresarial Angeles (GEA), the group founded by Olegario Vázquez Raña, who died on March 28, 2025, at the age of 89. The group now trades as Grupo Vazol and is chaired by his son, Olegario Vázquez Aldir.

On December 5, 2025 the Mexican Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) published a notice in the Diario Oficial de la Federación authorising the merger of Banco Multiva, as the surviving company, with the new company resulting from the spin-off of CIBanco, S.A., which transfers the trust business of CIBanco to Banco Multiva.
