Banco Monex

Banco Monex, S.A. (formerly Comerica Bank México, S.A.) operates as a subsidiary of Monex Grupo Financiero S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of Monex, S.A.P.I. de C.V., the controlling company of the financial group. The Bank offers a range of financial products and services including digital accounts, loans, letters of credit, foreign exchange trading, international investing and other services. In August 2006, Monex Grupo Financiero acquired Comerica Bank México, S.A., the Mexican banking subsidiary of Comerica Bank. In December 2007, the Group transferred FX operations from Monex Brokerage Firm to Banco Monex. As of September 30, 2025, Banco Monex had total assets of MXN 313.763 billion, a net loan portfolio of MXN 53.553 billion and traditional deposits of MXN 78.527 billion, compared with total assets of MXN 109.337 billion (US$6 billion) at March 31, 2017. The bank reported a network of 33 offices in Mexico at September 30, 2025, and the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) recorded 2,283 staff employed directly by the institution in June 2026.
