Zürcher Kantonalbank

Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB, Zurich Cantonal Bank) is the largest cantonal bank in Switzerland. It is also Switzerland's fourth-largest bank by total assets and is among leading asset managers with assets under management of CHF 265 billion. ZKB is a full-service bank providing a wide range of financial products and services including retail and commercial banking, private banking, international banking, asset management and investment services. With nearly 5,200 employees, it operates approximately 90 branches including branches of Zürcher Kantonalbank Osterreich AG in Salzburg and Vienna. Additionally, it has representative offices in Sao Paulo, Beijing, Singapore and Mumbai. The company was established in 1870 and is headquartered in Zurich. At March 31, 2017, it had total assets of CHF 159.548 billion, customer deposits of over CHF 80 billion and mortgage loans of over CHF 77 billion. The core capital ratio stood at 17.5% at the end of 2016. Zürcher Kantonalbank is wholly owned by the canton of Zurich. It is one of the five banks in the world to be awarded the highest AAA/Aaa credit ratings by all three leading rating agencies (Standard & Poor's, Fitch and Moody's).
