Rothschild & Co Bank AG, formerly named Rothschild Bank AG, is a private bank based in Zurich, Switzerland. It was founded by members of the British and French Rothschild families in 1969. The Bank is affiliated with Rothschild & Co, one of the world’s largest financial advisory groups. The group formerly reported a presence in 42 countries and total assets under management of over US$53 billion; it now reports some 4,800 employees across 70 locations in more than 50 countries and €150 billion of assets under management in its wealth and asset management business. Rothschild Bank is part of Rothschild Wealth Management & Trust business. The Bank provides private banking and asset management services to wealthy individuals, trusts and charities around the world. It offers investment advisory services, current and deposit accounts, fixed-term loans, trading in currencies, securities and derivatives, lombard and mortgage lending and other services. The Bank’s core markets are UK, Switzerland, Germany and Asia. Rothschild & Co Bank AG is a licenced securities dealer and an associated member of the Swiss Stock Exchange. As of March 31, 2016, it had total assets of CHF 4.646 billion, mortgage loans of CHF 233.5 million and managed assets of CHF 16.4 billion.

Rothschild & Co, the bank’s parent, ceased to be a listed company in 2023. The family holding company Concordia announced a simplified tender offer for the group’s shares on 6 February 2023 and filed it on 8 June 2023; the offer ran from 21 July to 8 September 2023, and Rothschild & Co was delisted from Euronext Paris on 11 October 2023. The group describes itself as being under long-term family ownership. The Swiss bank trades as Rothschild & Co Bank AG and maintains wealth management offices at Zollikerstrasse 181, 8034 Zurich and Rue de la Corraterie 6, 1204 Geneva.
