Graubündner Kantonalbank

Graubündner Kantonalbank (GKB), founded in 1870, is a midsize cantonal bank in Switzerland. Like many other cantonal banks, it has a regional focus and offers products and services for private customers, businesses and the public sector. The main operations include residential mortgage lending and SMEs loans. It holds strategic stakes in Privatbank Bellerive AG, a Swiss wealth manager with assets under management of approximately CHF 4 billion. In 2016, Graubündner Kantonalbank acquired a 25% stake in Albin Kistler AG, the asset management company. It also sold its 50% stake in Private Client Bank AG to a group of PCB's existing private shareholders. Graubündner Kantonalbank is headquartered in Chur with about 60 branches in Graubünden (Grisons) and 1 branch in Zurich. In 1985, GKB was listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange. As of June 30, 2017, it had total assets of CHF 24.5 billion and total equity of CHF 1.1 billion.
