Banque Cantonale de Genève (BCGE) is a full-service regional bank established in 1816. With over 1,000 employees, it has 21 branches, five 24-hour zones and 124 ATMs in the canton as well as offices in Lausanne, Zurich, Basel, Lyon, Annecy and Paris and representative offices in Dubai and Hong Kong. Banque Cantonale de Genève provides a comprehensive range of products and services for retail and corporate customers. It offers deposit products, personal and mortgage loans, debit and credit cards, business credits, investments, private banking, asset management, advisory and financial engineering services, online and mobile banking and other services. As at June 30, 2026, BCGE Group had assets under management and administration of CHF 41.9 billion, lending of CHF 21.8 billion and shareholders’ equity of nearly CHF 2.6 billion, with an equity coverage ratio of 16.5 per cent against a regulatory requirement of 12.7 per cent. For the first half of 2026 it reported operating profit of CHF 138 million and net profit of CHF 119 million. BCGE is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange; its 72,000,000 shares of CHF 5 par value are majority-held by Geneva public sector entities.
