Natixis is a corporate and investment bank based in France.

It was created in 2006 through the merger of Natexis Banques Populaires and subsidiaries of the Caisse d’Epargne Group, notably IXIS Corporate & Investment Bank and IXIS Asset Management. Natixis has been affiliated with BPCE Group since July 2009 replacing the dual affiliation of Natixis with CNCE (Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne) and BFBP (Banque Federale des Banques Populaires). Natixis has tier 1 capital of €14.3 billion and assets under management of €787 billion (June 30, 2016). With over 20,600 employees, it operates in 36 countries in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and EMEA region. In June 2016, Natixis bought a majority stake in advisory boutique Peter J Solomon.
