Crédit Agricole Group is the leading retail bank in France and one of the largest banking groups in the world. The company includes a network of cooperative and mutual banks with 2,512 Local Banks and 39 Regional Banks, the Regional Banks owning 63.5% of Crédit Agricole S.A. and controlling it via SAS Rue La Boétie. It is the bank of 9 farmers out of 10 in France. Credit Agricole is the first European asset manager (by total assets under management), the first bancassurer in Europe as well as the third European player in project finance. With around 160,000 employees, it serves 55 million customers through 8,065 branches worldwide. As of March 2016, the company had approximately EUR 1.4 trillion in total assets under management. In June 2017, Crédit Agricole sold its entire stake (15.4%) in Eurazeo to the investment company JCDecaux Holding.

Crédit du Maroc, Crédit Agricole Romania and Crédit Agricole Srbija were formerly part of this network and no longer appear among the brands listed by the group.

In full-year results published on 4 February 2026, Crédit Agricole Group reported 2025 revenues of EUR 39,558 million and net income Group share of EUR 8,754 million; Crédit Agricole S.A. reported revenues of EUR 28,079 million and net income Group share of EUR 7,074 million. The group first consolidated its 20.1% stake in Banco BPM, by the equity method, in the fourth quarter of 2025.
