HSBC Bank Middle East Limited (U.A.E. Branch) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HSBC Holdings plc, which is incorporated in the United Kingdom. HSBC Bank Middle East Limited itself transferred its place of incorporation and head office from Jersey to the Dubai International Financial Centre in June 2016; it is lead-regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority, while its United Arab Emirates branch remains regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE.
