The Bank of Yokohama, Ltd is one of the largest regional banks in Japan. It provides a wide range of banking services to retail and corporate customers including current and savings accounts, personal and business loans, credit cards, mortgages, retirement and pension plans, investments, trust and securities services, leasing, online banking, insurance and other services. BoY offers life insurance with 49 different products which include single premium and level premium annuity insurance, whole life insurance as well as protection type of life insurance. With 4,053 employees, it operates a network of 592 domestic locations, comprising 202 branches, 4 sub-branches and 386 ATM locations (March 2026), primarily in Kanagawa Prefecture and southwestern Tokyo. It also has branches in Shanghai and Singapore and representative offices in New York, Hong Kong and Bangkok. Bank of Yokohama was established in 1920 and is based in Yokohama City. In 2016, Bank of Yokohama and Higashi-Nippon Bank established a new holding company, Concordia Financial Group, which was renamed Yokohama Financial Group, Inc. in 2025. The Bank of Yokohama made the Kanagawa Bank a consolidated subsidiary in 2023, and the group comprises the Bank of Yokohama, the Higashi-Nippon Bank and the Kanagawa Bank. As of March 31, 2026, the bank had non-consolidated total assets of ¥22.98 trillion, deposits of ¥18.85 trillion and loans and bills discounted of ¥15.48 trillion.
