Banco Patagonia S.A. (BCBA: BPAT) is a commercial bank headquartered in Buenos Aires. It provides a wide range of financial solutions to individuals, corporations, small and medium sized companies, private banks, and institutional customers. The firm is also involved in the insurance sector and offers a range of insurance policies. Banco Patagonia was founded in 1976 and as of May 2026 operated 169 branches, two branches of specific operation, one agency, 23 promotion posts, 565 ATMs and 383 self-service terminals (SST). At that date the company had total assets of ARS 9.46 trillion, total deposits of ARS 6.38 trillion and total equity of ARS 1.92 trillion, and in March 2026 it employed 2,814 people. Banco do Brasil is the major shareholder of Banco Patagonia: minority shareholders exercised a put option in 2018, raising its stake to 80.39% of the capital and votes in circulation. The bank was also listed on the São Paulo exchange from 2007 until 2019. It ranked tenth among Argentine banks by deposits at December 31, 2025.
