YA Bank

yA Bank AS was an internet bank offering retail banking products. With approximately 50 employees, it provided savings and checking accounts, consumer loans, car loans, motorbike loans, boat loans, caravan and snowmobile loans, credit cards, refinancing and other services. As of March 31, 2017, it had total assets NOK 6.037 billion, net loans of NOK 4.953 billion and customer deposits of NOK 4.7 billion. yA Bank was wholly owned by Swedish Resurs Bank AB, which acquired 100% of the company in October 2015. The company was established in 2006 and served over 100,000 customers.

The yA brand was retired and the business was absorbed into Resurs Bank AB NUF (organisation number 984 150 865), the Norwegian branch of Swedish Resurs Bank AB. Customer deposit accounts were moved onto Resurs systems in November 2025, yA debit cards were blocked on 28 November 2025 and yA salary and current accounts were closed on 2 December 2025, and yA loan accounts were transferred in two batches on 12 January 2026 and 2 February 2026. The address www.ya.no now redirects to resursbank.no, and yA Bank AS is no longer listed as an active entity in the Norwegian Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities.
