Arbejdernes Landsbank is a Danish full service retail bank established in 1919. It is one of the ten largest banks in Denmark with over 260,000 private and commercial customers, 1,100 employees and 70 branches across the country.
Generally, Arbejdernes Landsbank is a bank for private customers, associations and small and medium-sized enterprises. It offers deposit and lending products, insurance, payments and trade finance, securities, asset management and capital market services, internet banking and more. Arbejdernes Landsbank is an unlisted shareholding company with more than 24,000 private shareholders. The Group’s two wholly-owned subsidiaries are Handels ApS Panoptikon and AL Finans A/S, which specializes in car financing, leasing and factoring. As of June 30, 2017, the Bank had total assets of DKK 46.1 billion (US$7.2 billion), deposits of DKK 33.9 billion and loans of DKK 21.4 billion.
