Oesterreichische Kontrollbank

OeKB AG (Oesterreichische Kontrollbank Aktiengesellschaft) is a financial services provider in the Austrian banking industry. OeKB, owned by domestic commercial banks, is official Export Credit Agency in Austria. It was founded on 22 January 1946 to provide specialised banking services. The company's activities are targeted to the needs of the economy as a whole. It offers products and services across business sectors, in a centralised manner, in accord with its sustainability policy. OeKB has a long tradition of fulfilling these special functions in its major areas of activity — Export Services and Capital Market Services — as well as in its Information Services business. OeKB is the second largest Austrian borrower in the international capital markets, ranking behind only the Austrian government. As of December 31, 2016, Oesterreichische Kontrollbank had total assets of EUR 28.5 billion and employed over 400 people.
