Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd (ASX: ANZ) is one of the largest banking groups in Australia and New Zealand. It provides a wide range of banking and financial products to retail, small business, corporate and institutional clients. With over 50,000 employees, ANZ serves more than 10 million customers in 34 counties including New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, UAE, Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom. The company operates through a network of over 1,200 branches and 4,000 ATMs across the world. ANZ’s history can be traced to the Bank of Australasia, which opened its first office in Sydney in 1835 and established a Melbourne office in 1838, where ANZ's headquarters is located today. In 2003, ANZ purchased National Bank of New Zealand from Lloyds TSB. In 2009, ANZ acquired ING Australia and created the wealth management division consisting of INGA, ANZ Private, Investment and Insurance, E Trade, and ANZ Financial Planning. In 2010, ANZ completed acquisition of Royal Bank of Scotland's retail and commercial businesses in Hong Kong and Taiwan. As of September 30, 2015, ANZ Group had total assets of A$889.900 billion and total equity of A$57.353 billion. As of November 19, 2015, the company's market capitalization was A$77.7 billion.

Australian division
It serves over 6 million retail, commercial and wealth management customers through about 800 branches, 115 business centres and 2,700 ATMs.

New Zealand division
Retail and Business Banking, Commercial & Agri banking, Institutional business and Wealth business.
ANZ New Zealand's brands: UDC Finance, Bonus Bonds, ANZ Securities and ANZ Investments and OnePath Insurance.

International and Institutional Banking
International and Institutional Banking division serves retail and business clients in the Asia Pacific region. It includes Institutional Client Group, Global Markets and Loans, Global Transaction Banking, Retail Banking (Asia Pacific) and Credit and Capital Management.

Global Wealth division
ANZ Global Wealth offers insurance, investment and superannuation services as well as private banking in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. It manages $65 billion in investment and retirement savings and has $2 billion in in-force risk premiums. The Global Wealth division includes Funds Management, Insurance and Private Wealth business units.
