U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) is a financial services company, headquartered in Minneapolis. Its flagship subsidiary U.S. Bank is one of the five largest commercial banks in the US in terms of total assets.  The Bank serves 16 million clients in 25 states through a network of more than 3,000 branches and over 5,300 bilingual ATMs and California is its largest market. US Bank also has operations in Europe and Canada. In 2010, the company acquired the securitization trust administration business of Bank of America for a sum of up to $35 million in cash. The division currently brings in a little more than $100 million in annual revenue. In 2011, the company took over the banking operations of First Community Bank (New Mexico) from the FDIC. As of March 31, 2011, US bank had $311 billion in total assets and $204 billion in deposits.
