Clariden Leu

Clariden Leu AG was one of the largest private banks in Switzerland with over 250 years of experience in Swiss private banking. It served wealthy clients, external asset managers and institutional clients through offices in Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lugano, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Montevideo, Nassau, Santiago, Lima, Cairo, Moscow, Riga, and Dubai.

Until 2007, it was known as Clariden Bank, an independent private bank belonging both to Credit Suisse and management at the Bank. In January 2007, Clariden Bank merged with Credit Suisse's other three private banks (Bank Leu, Bank Hofmann, and Banca di Gestione Patrimoniale) and Credit Suisse Fides to form Clariden Leu. In April 2012, Credit Suisse legally merged with Clariden Leu AG, acquiring all of Clariden Leu's assets and liabilities. In 2013, Swiss wealth management boutique Falcon Private Bank acquired Clariden Leu (Europe) Ltd (formerly Clariden Leu Asset Management UK) from Credit Suisse Group.
