Sparebanken Ost (Sparebanken Øst) (SPOG: Oslo stock exchange) is one of the largest non-alliance savings banks in Norway, with branches in Hokksund, Skotselv, Vestfossen, Mjondalen, Krokstadelva, Konnerud, Gulskogen, Bragernes, Lierbyen, Svelvik, Asker, Sandvika, Oslo (Vika, Holtet), Strømmen, Jessheim, Hønefoss, Horten, Tonsberg and Fredrikstad. With 226 FTE employees, the Bank provides a wide range of banking products and financial services to individuals and businesses. It offers deposit and lending products, mortgages, cash management, money transfer as well as pension insurance, life insurance, asset management, foreign exchange, financial advisory services and more. At the end of 2015, Sparebanken Ost Group’s total assets amounted to NOK 34.509 billion (US$4.0 billion) and customer deposits amounted to NOK 13.159 billion (US$1.5 billion). The company was founded in 1843 and is headquartered in Drammen, a city in Buskerud county.
