Baltic International Bank (BIB) is a Latvian private bank which provides lending, insurance, transactional and other services to its limited number of customers. BIB is a family-owned bank – a 99.9% stake is held by the Belokon family. Valeri Belokon is founder and main shareholder of JSC Baltic International Bank. Baltic International Bank was established in 1993 and is headquartered in Riga. The Bank also has representative offices in the United Kingdom, Russia and Ukraine. Today the Bank operates as a universal bank and provides all kinds of banking operations including standard banking services, deposits and investments and family wealth management. As of December 31, 2011, the company had total assets of 232.688 million lats (US$421.58 million) and deposits of 195.888 million lats (US$354.84 million).
