Československá obchodní banka, a.s. (CSOB) is a universal bank serving over 3 million customers through over 250 branches and 890 ATMs (CSOB+PSB) across the country. CSOB operates under two retail brands in the Czech Republic – CSOB and Postovni sporitelna (Postal Savings Bank or PSB). The company offers savings and current accounts, commercial accounts, entrepreneurial accounts, time deposits, consumer loans, car loans, American mortgage, special purpose loans for clients in a municipal sphere, mortgage loans for legal entities and entrepreneurs, VISA and MasterCards, internet banking, mobile banking, shares funds, pension products, asset management, CSOB Leasing and CSOB Factoring, local and global custody, securities trading and more. It also offers insurance services such as car insurance, life insurance, accident insurance, loan insurance, insurance to mortgages and travel insurance. Ceskoslovenska obchodni banka was established in 1964 and became a member of Belgium’s KBC group in 1999. As of June 30, 2012, ČSOB group had total asset of CZK 935.078 billion (US$45.2 billion), loans of CZK 464.6 billion (US$22.5 billion) and deposits of CZK 622 billion (US$30.1 billion).
